This parade started in the 1950's and it is a time for all of Blue Ridge to come together and celebrate the 4th of July as well as the way Blue Ridge, Georgia used to be.

We are excited to announce a special Sensory Sensitive Block at this year’s Old Timer’s Parade, designed to ensure everyone can enjoy the festivities in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. This section of the parade route offers a quieter, less stimulating environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families. Around 980 East Main St. Blue Ridge.
What You Can Expect
Lower Noise Levels: Enjoy the parade without loud music and sirens. We’ve lowered the volume to create a more comfortable experience.
Less Crowding: This area is designated to be less crowded, providing ample space for everyone to move around freely and comfortably.
Relaxed Pacing: The parade will move at a slower pace through this section, making it easier for everyone to enjoy the sights without feeling rushed.
