The once common practice of sewing by hand isn't quite so common anymore, but the importance of knowing how remains paramount. Mending your clothes, hemming.....simple ways to save a great deal of money. The Folk invite y'all to come join our Aunt Rachel as she guides you through the basics of hand sewing. Learn 5 different stitches and how and when to use them, learn to sew on a button, and before you leave you'll create your own pin cushion. Rachel has been sewing since she was a wee lass and has made clothes, linens, and holiday decorations for decades. she even made her own stunning wedding dress! This is the perfect class for those who (like me) have no clue where to begin and have zero experience but want to learn.
