Blind Wine Tasting

There will not be a test....

...nor scoring, it is not a competition. For those who are regular tasters with us, you know we encourage reserving bias on wines based on factors such as grape variety, place of origin, among others. Because wine styles can vary so greatly, we always encourage keeping an open mind to what you may discover next. There is no more effective way to remove bias from tasting wine than to do so without having any information on the wine you're tasting, indeed, a "blind tasting."

As the culmination to the April focus we've had of remaining open to new discoveries, there are some reasons why I've chosen to conclude with a blind tasting.

In May will we will celebrate two years since the opening of 34th°. In that time it has been my absolute joy to establish relationships, friendships, and earn the trust of the North Georgia wine-loving community. Your loyalty is the reason we can say our first two years have been an incredible success.

During the month of May we will be making an announcement about the launch of our much anticipated, and requested, monthly wine club. Members will receive a monthly selection of wines curated by yours truly, among other benefits. I can't wait to share the details with you very soon!

So, as you'll soon be putting faith in me to select a portion of your monthly supply, let's test the waters as you join us this week for what I assure you will be a flight of wines that reflect the essence of 34th°, and will of course be...delicious.
